Who runs this site
Lafayette LA Pool Builders is an independent guide for homeowners in Lafayette Parish and nearby towns. We explain pool types, prices and local rules, and introduce you to one local builder. We don't sell, design or build pools.
Where your request goes
- You send the form, with your calculator range if you used it.
- We pass it to one licensed builder who works in your town.
- That builder contacts you, usually within a business day, looks at the yard and writes up a quote.
We don't send your request to a list of companies, and we don't sell your information.
How we make money
The builder may pay us for the referral. It costs you nothing. We don't rate builders or call any of them the best.
About the prices
Our ranges are estimates built from one local builder's published prices, local permit and job figures, and national 2025–2026 guides, checked November 2026. They are not quotes; the builder prices your yard after a visit.
Before you hire any swimming pool builder
Whether the builder came from us or from anywhere else, these six checks protect you:
- Get the price in writing, with what's included: materials, labour, site prep, permit and cleanup.
- Ask whether the builder pulls the permit, and who books the inspections.
- Check their licence or registration where your state or city requires one, and ask for proof of liability insurance.
- Ask for two or three recent jobs nearby that you can drive past or call about.
- Agree on the payment schedule before work starts. A modest deposit is normal; paying most of it up front is a warning sign.
- Ask what the warranty covers (workmanship and materials) and for how long.
